The What, Why and How of charity trusteeship - Gateshead, 3 November

This free event is aimed at those who are interested in becoming a trustee and would like more information about what the role entails and how to get involved.

The session will be led by Reach Chief Executive Sarah King together with Maureen Kesteven, the County Organiser for the National Garden Scheme and GVOC trustee.

It will include helpful advice and guidance on what the role entails, the kind of commitment expected and the liabilities involved. There will be a workshop on why you might become a trustee, including the personal and professional benefits it can bring. Attendees will also be given advice on how to find out about the kinds of roles available.
