Small Charities Coalition and Charity Trustee Networks challenge trustees
The challenge is for charity trustees to do something in at least one of the following challenge categories to mark Trustees’ Week 2011:
Category 1 – Celebration
Thank your trustees, hold an event, share your trustees’ stories
Category 2 – Governance improvement
Download the soon to be published Good Governance Code for smaller organisations!
Category 3 – Gearing up for recruitment
Do a skills audit, write a job-description, create a trustee induction pack
Make sure you tell CTN and SCC how you’ve met the challenge - the winning charity in each category will receive free training vouchers, generously donated by TPP Not for Profit and Directory of Social Change. Every contributor will also receive a free copy of the Codes of Conduct for Trustees.

Trustees are the people in charge of a charity. They play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity's work. Trustees' Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference. Trustees’ Week 2015 is 2–8 November, and is being officially launched at the NCVO / BWB Trustee Conference on 2 November 2015.
