The Guardian Voluntary Sector Network are running an online live Q and A on its website on matching trustees and charities. You can leave questions on the site below that you would like to be put to the expert panel on Tuesday or follow the debate live yourself. The panel is made up of organisations including The Charity Commmission as well as trustees .
The discussion will look at:
• Choosing the right charity for you
• Recruiting the right candidates for your board
• The importance of good training and induction for new trustees
• What help and support is available

Trustees are the people in charge of a charity. They play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity's work. Trustees' Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference. Trustees’ Week 2015 is 2–8 November, and is being officially launched at the NCVO / BWB Trustee Conference on 2 November 2015.
