Charity trustee update

This event is aimed at both trustees already working within a charity and those thinking of becoming a trustee in the future.
Attendees will hear about the Charity Commission’s guidance on governance and trustee responsibilities and get an overview of key things to consider when developing an investment strategy and policy. The event will also help attendees find sources of information to manage their charities effectively and provide an opportunity to share knowledge and experience.

Trustees are the people in charge of a charity. They play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity's work. Trustees' Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference. Trustees’ Week 2015 is 2–8 November, and is being officially launched at the NCVO / BWB Trustee Conference on 2 November 2015.
