Marking Trustees' Week 2013, A&B Cymru will be delivering courses aimed at board members and those who report to boards.
If you are a Trustee of an arts charity, A&B Cymru’s On Boardcourse is designed for you and takes place in Cardiff & Old Colwyn on Tuesday 5 November.
If you are an Arts Manager, A&B Cymru’s Board Matterscourse is what you need. It’s on in Cardiff on Thursday 7 November.

On Board – Tuesday 5 November
This half-day course is aimed at individuals who sit on the boards of arts organisations. It provides crucial guidance to ensure responsible governance and the roles & responsibilities of trustees.
Venue: Eversheds, Cardiff, 9.30am – 1.00pm
TAPE, Old Colwyn, 10.00am – 1.30pm

Board Matters – Thursday 7 November
This course is a practical day-long session which provides senior arts managers with an opportunity to explore ways of improving the performance and contribution of their Boards. The agenda covers:
· The purpose of the board
· Roles and responsibilities of board membership – ensuring understanding
· The core mission – board members as successful advocates
· Increasing board effectiveness
Venue: Eversheds, Cardiff, 10.00am – 4.30pm
