Trustees are the people in charge of a charity. They play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity's work. Trustees' Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference. Trustees’ Week 2015 is 2–8 November, and is being officially launched at the NCVO / BWB Trustee Conference on 2 November 2015.
To mark Trustees’ Week Governance magazine and Farrer & Co will be hosting a seminar to bring together chairs of major charities (income £3m+) with common interests to discuss how to prevent and control reputational risk.
Date: 5th November 2012 Time: 4:00pm - 6:00pm Venue: Lincoln Inn's Fields, London, WC2A 3LH (exact location and agenda will be confirmed once you reserve your place)
The group will be led by an experienced chair who will begin the seminar with remarks about his own experience in this area. The chair will be joined by Julian Pike of Farrer & Co, who has 20 years experience in reputation management with charities. Each seminar will be conducted under Chatham House rules.
