The Small Charities Coalition is holding an Olympic themed Trustees’ Week Challenge offering small charities the chance to win up to £400! They are inviting small charities (incomes under £1 million) to enter the challenge by sending in their trustee stories along with a photo or video. Twelve of these will be shortlisted and posted on their website and from this group three Olympic medal winners will be selected. The gold prize winner will be awarded £400, silver £200, and bronze £100.
To enter to become a Trustee Olympian send the following by 31st October:
1. The story – please try to keep it to no more than 500 words
2. A photo or short video relating to the story (with a caption e.g. person's name / description)
3. Your contact details (name, organisation, telephone, email address)
4. Confirmation that you are happy for us to use your story in publicity for Trustees Week and generally.

Trustees are the people in charge of a charity. They play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity's work. Trustees' Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference. Trustees’ Week 2015 is 2–8 November, and is being officially launched at the NCVO / BWB Trustee Conference on 2 November 2015.
