Harrogate and District Volunteering Oscars - Harrogate, 16/11/12

Now in their fifth year, the Oscars aim to celebrate the many unsung heroes and heroines in our community – those people who do so much to help others, and give their time freely as volunteers to so many good causes.

They are organised by former Mayor of Harrogate County Councillor John Fox, by Ackrill Media Group and by the Harrogate and Ripon Councils for Voluntary Service.

We are seeking nominations from all sectors of the community, and from all areas in the Harrogate district, including Ripon, Nidderdale, Knaresborough, Boroughbridge and Masham.

All the nominated people will be invited to the Harrogate and District Volunteering Oscars Awards evening at The Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate on Friday November 16th 2012.

The closing date for nominations is Monday 22 October at noon
