Civil Service Benevolent Fund supports Trustees' Week

The Civil Service Benevolent Fund is supporting Trustees’ Week 2011 by showcasing the work of its own trustees and sharing their personal stories, to raise awareness of the value of volunteering to individuals and the charities and communities they support.

Patrick Hughes, Director for London Jobcentre Plus; Graeme Henderson, Head of Health and Work at the Department of Health; Siobhan Benita, Head of the Board Secretariat at the Department of Health and Richard Hatfield, Director General, International Networks and Environment at the Department for Transport, have all very kindly taken the time to share their own experience of becoming a trustee of the Fund and explaining how their role enables them to help other civil servants who are facing difficult times in their lives.

Throughout Trustees Week, you can view a compilation of all four senior civil servants sharing their stories, as well as their separate interviews every day of the week at www.csbf.org.uk.
