Big thanks

We'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who made Trustees' Week 2011 such a success. 54 events were held up and down the country as part of the week, almost double the number of events held last year. Thanks to everyone who organised an event to celebrate trusteeship and the important role trustees carry out.

We'd also like to thank all the trustees who shared their experiences with us. You can still read their stories here.

Trustees' Week 2011 received significant coverage in both the traditional and social media. It also received fantastic support from a number of MPs, many of whom took the opportunity to thank the trustees in their constituencies for all their hard work.

Now that Trustees' Week 2011 has finished, we won't be updating the website as frequently. It will remain live, and you will still be able to read all the posts about Trustees' Week 2011. If you are seeking a trustee vacancy, please see details of the Trustees' Week partners that provide trustee matching services here.

If you have any questions about Trustees' Week in the meantime, please email trusteesweek@charitycommission.gsi.gov.uk. We will be announcing details of Trustees' Week 2012 in due course.

  1. I would like to also say a big thank you to everyone, especially to the people maintaining this website and keeping us updated.

A lot of hard work went in behind the scenes but I think it did a great amount of good that we can build on. 'Young Charity Trustees' saw a big spike in members for our LinkedIn group.

I look forward to next year being even bigger and better!

  2. Thanks to the Trustees' Week team for all your support during the week. We ran events in Gateshead and Newcastle as well as a webinar and training session in London. We've had an upsurge in enquiries for trustee roles and from charities posting them. Thanks again.
