Would you like to find out more about trusteeship in and around the Richmond area?
Richmond CVS is running an event where potential trustees can discover more about what being a trustee entails and meet around 25 different organisations that currently have trustee vacancies.
At the event you’ll be able to find out what people get out of volunteering as a trustee, as well as what sort of commitment is involved. We’re offering presentations, Q&A and a ‘trustee support’ stall as well as the opportunity to talk to organisations directly.
Whatever your interests and passions, why not come along and find out more?
There’s no obligation to commit to any organisation on the night.

Pre-registration isn’t essential, but you’ll receive information on finding the right trustee role and will also be entered in a draw for a free place on our next ‘What is Governance?’ course for new trustees.
Even if you don’t find what you’re looking for on the night, you can register with our Volunteer Centre and we will seek other options for you.
There are plenty of opportunities locally - around 800 voluntary organisations and charities of all shapes and sizes work in the borough of Richmond. Together they cover every field of interest from arts to the elderly, environment to disability, heritage to youth – and much more; they range from tiny groups handling a few hundred pounds to large concerns whose turnover runs into seven figures.

Trustees' Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference. Trustees’ Week 2015 is 2–8 November, and is being officially launched at the NCVO / BWB Trustee Conference on 2 November 2015.
