Following the success of last year’s first annual Trustees’ Week, we can now confirm that Trustees’ Week 2011 will take place on 31 October – 6 November.
Last year more than 30 events were held across the country during Trustees’ Week. We hope that charities and other organisations will get involved again this year to celebrate the great work that trustees do and help raise awareness of how important trusteeship is.
We also want to highlight that trusteeship can be an opportunity for people of all walks of life to get involved and make a difference. If you’re a charity trustee we want to hear about your experiences and what trusteeship means to you.

Trustees are the people in charge of a charity. They play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity's work. Trustees' Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference. Trustees’ Week 2015 is 2–8 November, and is being officially launched at the NCVO / BWB Trustee Conference on 2 November 2015.
