The National Council for Voluntary Organisations has produced two short videos with charity trustees talking about their experiences of trusteeship.
Tom Dobinson, trustee of Enfield Asian Welfare Association and his local parish church says the benefit of being a trustee is being able to make a contribution and help those people who need it.

Indy Lottay, trustee of Age UK describes being a trustee as an 'honour' and says that the best thing about it is meeting people, both trustees and service users.

Trustees are the people in charge of a charity. They play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity's work. Trustees' Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference. Trustees’ Week 2015 is 2–8 November, and is being officially launched at the NCVO / BWB Trustee Conference on 2 November 2015.
