Trustees are the people in charge of a charity. They play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity's work. Trustees' Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference. Trustees’ Week 2015 is 2–8 November, and is being officially launched at the NCVO / BWB Trustee Conference on 2 November 2015.
Last night I went to the second anniversary party for Trustees Unlimited hosted by Bates Wells and Braithwaite. The atmosphere was really positive, I met some fascinating people from all sorts of organisations and I was very pleased that one of the speakers was a young trustee who explained how she had got involved in trusteeship.
ReplyDeleteI attended the Breakfast seminar hosted by the CFDG and Coalition for Efficiency on Thursday and found it a really insightful debate around the dilemma for trustees to spend or to save. A big thank you to the speakers for sharing some really interesting facts. Great event, good atmosphere, thank you!
